Motorola Moto X launched in India.starting to be Rs 31,999

Motorola unveiled the new Moto X in India earlier this month, but didn’t reveal the price saying it would be announced on the day of launch. Today, the company has launched the flagship device in India with prices starting at Rs 31,999. The wooden and leather back variants will cost Rs 33,999 and they will go on sale on Flipkart at midnight.

As far as specifications are concerned, the new Moto X flaunts a 5.2-inch full HD AMOLED 1080p display with a pixel density of 423ppi, and is powered by a 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM. Also included is 16GB internal storage, but no micr0SD card slot to expand the memory.

The flagship smartphone also features a 13-megapixel rear camera with flash, and 4K video recording capabilities, 2-megapixel front-facing camera, front-facing stereo speakers, and a 2,300mAh battery. On the software front, the smartphone runs on Android 4.4.4 KitKat.

In comparison, the original Moto X featured a 4.7-inch 1080p display, Snapdragon dual-core processor, 2GB of RAM, and 16/32GB internal storage. Also included is a 10-megapixel rear camera, 2-megapixel front-facing camera, 2,200mAh battery, and on the software front, it runs on Android 4.4.4 KitKat. 

Its just a great device meeting up the demands of the people upto the extent which they reqire atmost with as per the price is concerned.Many more devices are on a great deal to carry out the same features but can become the vendor only after this mobile.

Xiaomi Beats Samsung to become China's Top smartphone Vendor: Canalys

Xiamoi, a Chinese handset maker little knownin the West, overtook tech giant Samsung Electronics Co. to become China'stop-spelling smartphone brand in the second quarter, a market research company said Tuesday.

According to Canalys, Xiaomi sold 15million smartphones in China during the second quarter, more than a three-fold surge from a year earlier. It surpassed Samsung, which had the leading position in China for more than two years, as well as local brands such as Lenovo and Huawei.

During the April-June period, Samsung's China smartphone sales decreased to 13.2 million units from  15.5 million a year earlier. Lenovo trailed Samsung by a margin of 2 million units.

Xiamoi is little known in Europe or in North America because it sells nearly all of its smartphones in mainland China. But strong growth in China alone was enogh to vault Xiamoi to a top five position among the world's smartphone makers from nowhere the previous year.

Last week, another market research firm Strategy Analytics said Xiaomi became the world's fifth-largest smartphone vendor for the first time in the second quarter, surpassing LG Electronics Inc.

Canalys said China was the world's largest smartphone market during the second quarter, with nearly four in every 10 smartphones sold there.

Jingwen Wang, an analyst  at Canalys , said Xiamoi's was thanks to its competitive prices and focus on its own mobile software known as MUI.

Samsung and Apple Inc. were the only non-Chinese vendors among the top 10 smartphones brands in China.

Samsung Galaxy Core Mini 4G......Announced in China

Samsung is launching a new Android smartphone in China, the Samsung Galaxy Core Mini 4G, the handset will be available with mobile carrier China Mobile.

The Samsung Galaxy Core Mini 4G comes with a 4.3 inch LCD display that has a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, the device is powered by a quad core 1.2GHz processor.

Other specifications on the Galaxy Core Mini 4G include 1.5GB of RAM and 8GB of build in storage, there is also a microSD card slot for expansion.

This new Android smartphone from Samsung also comes with a 5 megapixel rear camera with an LED flash, it can record high definition video in 720p.

The Galaxy Core Mini 4G also comes with WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0, plus GPS and USB 2.0, the handset come with Android 4.4 Kit Kat.

The Galaxy Core Mini 4G will be available exclusively with China Mobile in China.However plans are to be on road for launching it in India and Other Countries too.Lets wait and see....

Samsung Galaxy Core 2 Launched....Rush out!!!!!!

Samsung has added another Android smartphone to their ever expanding Galaxy range with the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Core 2.

The Samsung Galaxy Core 2 comes with a 4.5 inch TFT WVGA display, the device is powered by a quad core 1.2GHz processor and it also comes with 768MB of RAM.

For storage, the new Core 2 comes 4GB of storage built in, there is also a microSD card slot for expansion, which supports up to 64GB cards, plus front and rear facing cameras.

On top of that the Samsung Galaxy Core 2 comes with a VGA front facing camera and a rear 5 megapixel camera with an LED flash and auto-focus.

Other specifications on the new Samsung Galaxy Core 2 include WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS+GLONASS, a 2,000 mAh battery, and USB 2.0. It comes with Android 4.4 Kit Kat and it also features a dual SIM card slot.

As yet Samsung have not given any details on how much the new Galaxy Core 2 will retail for, there are also no details on a specific launch date as yet

Introductory victory of new LG G Flex

LG finally introduced its first curved display smartphone in India, the G Flex, at an event in New Delhi. Indian consumers will have to wait till next year to get their hands on the device, as the G Flex will be available in India only in February 2014..

When we first held the G Flex in our hands, we were definitely a bit taken aback by its ergonomic curved design, which definitely is the device's USP. The G Flex is curved on its horizontal axis which gives the device's top and bottom edges a curl shape.

The biggest perceived advantage of the G Flex's curve in our limited period usage, is while talking on the device - the design definitely better hugs your face, much like an old landline phone. In terms of gripping, the curve also helps to comfortably hold the device, but the rear is made of plastic, so it can also slip out during long usage. 

When compared to some of its close competitors  its

better to hold and move around thanks to the curve design. 

Next big thing which is very much noticeable in the G Flex is its size, the 6-inch display does puts it in the phablet category and does looks like a large device in hands. Notably, we were unable to easily use the G Flex with one hand, as we found it difficult to stretch our thumb across the device. At the event, we were told that the G Flex can actually 'flex' until it's totally flat, and one of the company representatives even claimed that the South Korean manufacturer has tested the flexibility of the G Flex up to 100 times with about 40 kilograms of weight putting on the device without damaging the G Flex's screen. Let's say in the case, when accidentally sitting on the G Flex. 

While we couldn't test it with 40 kilograms of weight, we did press the curve of the G Flex, and it did stretch to be flat. While the display didn't crack, it's not really advisable to do this on a daily basis.

Following closely on the lines of LG's current flagship smartphone, the LG G2, G Flex also features rear physical keys for power and volume controls. LG has equipped the LED light on the rear power key which comes handy for notifications and while taking a selfie. The keys are metallic and offer good tactile feedback, very much like the LG G2. The volume-up button also doubles up as a shortcut key to launch the Quickmemo app on long press and the volume-down button acts as a camera shortcut key on long press when the phone is locked.

The G Flex also includes a number of ports around the edges including the 3.5mm audio jack and the charging port that sits at the bottom panel, while the micro-SIM card slot sits at the left panel of the G Flex. The rear panel includes the primary 13-megapixel camera with an LED flash, which is accompanied by an IR Blaster.

Coming to the hardware of the G Flex, it is powered by a quad-core 2.26GHz Snapdragon 800 (MSM8974) processor with an Adreno 330 GPU, and 2GB of RAM. The G Flex easily handled multitasking with ease, and the apps opened and closed instantaneously. Performance wise, the G Flex fared well in our limited testing.

The G Flex sports a 13-megapixel rear camera, and a 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera. During our usage, the camera app opened instantly and did click at good speed without any shutter lag. The G Flex is powered by a 3,500mAh battery and weighs 177 grams. The LG G Flex comes with 32GB inbuilt storage, which is non-expandable.

The LG G Flex runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, which is a disappointment as we expected LG to ship Android 4.3, the most recent iteration of the OS with the phone. However, with LG finally revealing plans for rolling out the Android 4.4 KitKat update for the flagship smartphone, the G2, we expect that the G Flex will also get the KitKat treatment soon.

The LG G Flex also features the KnockON, which is LG's version of double tap to unlock and even lock the smartphone. In our limited testing, we found that at times while trying to unlock the phone it didn't register our taps. In fact, it was annoying at times. 

Other features on the G Flex include Slide Aside which is a way to multitask by moving between three apps at once via a three-finger swipe gesture; Guest mode, which allows you to create a guest mode with pre-selected apps for times when your friends or family want to use your phone; Dual Window, which divides the screen into two panels for multitasking and QuickTheatre that gives direct access to gallery, videos and YouTube icons.

Launching of Nokia X2 Android smartphone is Ahead

Microsoft is all set to launch the second generation of its X-series of Android smartphones later this month. Reliable sources tell that the launch is three weeks away, so we are looking at the announcement to take place sometime in the week of June 23.A manifest of the Nokia X2 (codename RM-1013) units that have arrived in India for testing purposes. It is quite likely that the launch of the second-generation Android smartphones could take place in India, though the arrival of testing phones and the launch plans are not related.

This will be the first X-series smartphone to feature a dedicated home button. Nokia had found many users complaining about the lack of a home button in the Nokia X, which only had a back button. These users did not realize that long pressing the back button would take them to the home screen rather than having to press it multiple times to reach the home screen one step back at a time. Reaching the home screen easily is crucial in the Nokia X-series of smartphones as it doesn’t have a regular swipe down notification bar like other Android smartphones. In order to check notifications, users have to first go to the homescreen and then reach the Fastlane interface by swiping from the side of the display.

Earlier, specifications of the Nokia X2 had leaked thanks to a benchmark listing on AnTuTu. According to the listing, the Nokia X2 will feature a 4.3-inch WVGA (800×480 pixels) display, 1.2GHz dual-core Snapdragon 200 processor, 1GB of RAM, and 4GB internal storage. It will also sport a 5-megapixel rear camera and VGA front-facing camera.

In comparison, the original Nokia X came with a 4-inch WVGA display, 1GHz Snapdragon dual-core processor, 512MB of RAM, 4GB storage, microSD support, a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera, a 1,500mAh battery and dual-SIM card support.

LG G3 Quick Circle Cases announced ahead of May 27th launch

After the new circular Quick window mode on the LG G3 was leaked in a screen shots, LG has made the Quick Circle cases for G3 official, with the company issuing a statement that the new order style cases for LG G3 will be launched along the smartphone.

The South Korean handset maker seems to be prepping the market for the launch of G3, and we wonder if the company has other revelations to make ahead of smartphones launch on May 27 in three cities- London , New York , San Fransisco followed by a May 28 launch in-Singapore, Istanbul and Seoul. LG has so far confirmed that G3 will feature 5.5-inch QHD AH-IPS LCD 534 ppi display. We can probably assume the name for the new Circular QuickWindow mode used on the LG G3 is called Quick Circle.

It's worth nothing that LG, in a similar manner announced the Quick Window cases announced for LG G2 ahead of its global launch last year. The LG Quick Circle cases for G3 will be available in five colour variants namely-Aqua Mint, Indian Pink, Metallic Black, Silk White and Shine Gold.

The Quick Circle cases for the LG G3 also equip wireless charging compatibility with the QI interface standard. The South Korean major also announced that a software development kit (SDK) will be released next month to allow the developers to customize LG G3 smartphones to perform specific window, emitting a soft, white, circular glow inside the window whenever the G3 case is opened/closed or a call text/message is received.

Commenting on the rollout of  Quick Circle cases for LG G3, Dr.Jong-seok park, president and CEO of the LG Electronics mobile Communication company said. 

Based on earlier reports, the LG G3 is said to come with a 13-mega pixel rear camera with the new optical stabilization rear mounted speaking offering 1W output, and a 3000mAh battery capacity. The smartphone is also rumoured to come with a snapdragon 805 processor.

Samsung Galaxy S5 Crystal Edition confirmed for May launch

Samsung is known for launching its flagship Galaxy smartphones in new avatars and variants. Following the tradition, the South Korean giant has confirmed that its flagship Galaxy S5 is coming in a Crystal Edition with Swarovski Crystal.

Samsung Mobile Korea has posted a video on youtube that teases the upcoming Galaxy S5 Crystal Edition smartphone. The video does not reval much about the new Galaxy S5 variant; though it confirms that the rear panel will be featuring crystal from Swarovski. The video also confirms that the Galaxy S5 Crystal Edition smartphone is launching in May.

However, there is no word whether the May release for the Galaxy S5 variant is for the Korean market only, or also intended for a global release.

Samsung in the past had launched the Galaxy S4 Crystal Edition, which was available in limited numbers in selective countires.

The South Korean giant in January also announced the Galaxy S4 and Galaxy S4 mini 'Black Edition', which featured black-coloured faux-leather back cover, as first seen in Galaxy Note 3.

We expect that the Galaxy S5 Crystal Edition will come with identical specifications as the original version.

Samsung's latest flagship Galaxy smatphone, the Galaxy S5 went on sale worldwide on April 11. It is priced at Rs.51,500 in INDIA.

The biggest new features being touted on the Galaxy S5 by Samsung include a fingerprint scanner on the home button, a heart rate sensor placed near the 16-mega pixel camera, and the IP67 certification that makes it dust and water-resistant. As of now, there is no word whether the Galaxy S5 Crystal Edition will come with such features. The smartphone also features a new design in terms of the back panel now being perforated, and available with four colours at launch and option designer back panels.

Samsung Galaxy S5 Zoom launch expected at April 29 ' Kapture The Moment' event

Samsung has started teasing its 'Kapture The Moment' event, scheduled for 29 April, where the company hints at an upcoming camera-centric smartphone.

The official teaser has been shared by Samsung Mobile official Twitter handle and does not reveal much about the product. The tweet by Samsung reads, "Kapture the moment. April  29. Mark your calenders!" 

We expect that the company will unveil the much-rumoured camera-variant of the Galaxy S5, the Galaxy S5 Zoom. The device has been doing rounds on the Internet for a while now and is the successor to the company's first camera-variant of a flagship, the Galaxy S4 Zoom.

Further, the teaser image has the letter "K" printed in large fonts, which suggests that the alleged Galaxy S5 Zoom might be dubbed Galaxy K Zoom.

In-line with the teaser image, a publication has claimed that the Samsung Galaxy K Zoom is the SOuth Korean giant's next mobile and camera hybrid device.

Earlier reports suggest that the alleged Samsung Galaxy K Zoom's camera will pack a 20-megapixel sensor, 10x optical zoom, image stabilization and also a Xenon flash. Aside from these imaging features, the Samsung Galaxy S5 Zoom is also expected to include a physical camera shutter button and a throttle to control the zoom, both of which make it easier to take pictures.

The screen of the Samsung Galaxy K Zoom is said to be 4.8-inch display covering almost the entire front of the device. The handset runs Android Kitkat, and it is likely to be powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.6GHz paired with 2GB of RAM. 

The rumoured Samsung Galaxy K Zoom smartphone was first spotted in a GFXBench test in March.

The next generation HTC One will have a 16-Megapixel Camera

It's already pretty widely known what the next generation HTC One will look like follow the numerous leaks surfacing on the web, however the camera has remained relatively a mystery.

That is until now since a Chinese TENAA listing provided all the specs including the camera which specified the HTC One will have a 16-Megapixel and 4-Megapixel camera which represent the two rear facing cameras on the device.

The next-generation HTC One is set to be officially announced at HTC's event next week, where no doubt how the two rear-cameras will be explained how they work together.

Gionee Elife S5.5 "worlds slimmest smartphone" to launch on march 18 in china

Gionee, the Chinese smartphone manufacture, is all set to launch its slimmest smartphone in two countries this month. Dubbed the Gionee Elife S5.5, the 5.5mm-thick smartphone was first unveiled last month ahead of the Mobile World Congress event in Barcelona.

The smartphone will be launched first in China, with an 18 March 2014 release. This will be followed by its launch in India, on 31 March 2014. During its official MWC announcement, Gionee said that the device will head over to 40 more countries soon after its initial launch, and that consumers will get a 4G LTE varient of the smartphone in June 2014.

The Gionee Elife S5.5 3G variant will be priced at CNY 2,299 (Approximately $375 or Rs. 23,000) in China. Actual pricing and availability of the smartphone in India will be unveiled on the phone's launch on 31March 2014.

The Elife S5.5 is a single- SIM smartphone and runs the company's Amigo UI on top of ANdroid 4.2 Jelly Bean. It features a 5-inch display with no word on its resolution and display quality. The Elife S5.5 is powered by a 1.7GHz octa-core CPU coupled with 2GB of RAM. The camera options on the handset include a 13-megapixel rear shooter with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front camera for video calls.

The inbuilt storage on the Elife S5.5 is 16GB and there is no memory expansion option available. The smartphone packs a similar 2300mAh battery to that seen on the company's flagship, Elife E7.

The Elife S5.5 measures in 145.1 by 70.2 by 5.55mm weighs 130 grams At just 5.5mm thickness, the smatphone may just be the slimmest smartphone in the world.

Connectivity options on the smartphone include 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 4.0 GPS and USB OTG. The Gionee Elife S5.5 comes on Black, White, Pink, Blue and Purple colours.

Sony has unveiled its flagship device for 2014, the Xperis Z2. The Sony Xperis Z2 is the latest member in the Xperia series and comes with some considerable changes.

Sony Xperia Z2 has borrowed a lot from its already available smartphone, Xperia Z1. Takling about the specs, the device sports a 5.2 inch full HD live color LED Triluminos display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.The Xperia Z2 is powered by a 2.3 GHz Quad-Core CPU and Snapdragon 801 chipset and runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat. The device is packed with a 3GB of Ram and 16 GB of Internal Storage with expandable memory via Micro SD card.

 

Talking about the camera, Sony Xperia Z2 sports the same camera as we have seen on the Xperia Z1; a 20.7 MP Exmor RS camera. However the same camera brings different features, as the new Xperia Z2 will record videos in 4K resolution and will also be able to record slow motion videos at 120 FPS (720p).

 

Further the Xperia Z2 is packed with a 3200 mah battery which seems fair with these boosted specs that we see. No price information is available yet,but we will update you once we hear more.

Nokia announces its first Android Smartphones X,X+ and XL

Nokia finally launched its Android based smartphones X,X+and XL which includes Nokia UI in these devices.
Anyhow these devices are not purely android based smartphones,these phones instead run a forked variant of Android, similar to the way Amazon does for its Kindle Fire lineup. Nokia has taken the open-source elements of Android and has pulled in other elements of Asha and Windows Phone to offer users a different experience.

This forked version of Android will not include Play Store or any Google App, like Chrome, Maps etc, however, it can still manage to run the Android applications you want. These X smartphones from Nokia will instead include, Skype, Here maps, Outlook and more services. 

The Nokia X and X+ both shares the same look and are 10.4 mm thick, which is probably not the thinnest device we have known. While the XL keeping up to its name is 10.8 mm thick device. While Nokia and Microsoft deal is about to come in the picture soon, we doubt if Microsoft will continue the X family that Nokia has just started today.

The Nokia X will go on sale immediately, priced at EUR 89  in Asia-Pacific, Europe, India, Latin America, the Middle East and Africa. The Nokia X+ and Nokia XL are expected to be available soon, priced at EUR 99 and EUR 109, respectively.

Swiping across reveals the Fastlane feature, an option that is forwarded from Nokia’s Asha devices. However, it is disappointing to see these phone running on forked version of Android 4.1.2 which was launched in 2012.

Google project Tango 3D vision smartphone platform announced

Google announced a new research project Thursday aimed at bringing 3D technology to smartphones, for potential applications such as indoor mapping, gaming and helping blind people navigate.

The California tech giant said its "project Tango" would provide prototypes of its new smartphone to outside developers to encourage the writing of new applications.

project leader Johnny Lee said the goal of the project, which incorporates robotics and vision-processing technology, is to give mobile device a human-scale understanding of space and motion."

"what if you could capture the dimensions of your home simply by walking around with your phone before you went furniture shopping?" Google said on its project Tango web page.

"What if directions to a new location didn't stop at the street address ? what if you never again found yourself lost in a new building ? what if the visually impaired could navigate unassisted in unfamiliar indoor places? what if you could search for a product and see where the exact shelf is located in as super-store?

The technology  could also be used for "playing hide-and-seek in your house with your favorite game character, or transforming the hallways into a tree-lined path."

smartphones are equipped with sensors which  make over 1.4 million measurements per second, updating the position and rotating of the phone.

Partners in the project include researchers from the university of Minnesota, George Washington University , German tech firm Bosch and the open source Robotics Foundation, among others.

Another partner is California-based Movidius said in a statement the goal was" to mirror human vision with a newfound level of depth, clarity and realism on mobile and portable connected devices."

"Google has paved the future direction for smart mobile vision systems and we're excited to be working with a company that shares our vision that fundamentally alter how a mobile device is used to experience the world around us," said Remi EI-Quazzane, chief executive of Movidius.

"Project Tango is truly a groundbreaking platform and we look forward to seeing the innovation the developer community achieves,"he added.

Samsung Galaxy S5 to be waterproof and priced attractively

With just few days left in the launch of much-anticipated Samsung's next flagship smartphone, rumours about the Galaxy S5 are pouring in fast.

The new Galaxy S5 details come from Bloomberg, which cites a person familiar with the matter who claims that Samsung's upcoming S flagship smartphone will sport a larger and sharper 5.2 inch display than the 2013 flagship smartphone, Galaxy S4. Notably, this is in line with a recently leaked purported screen short of the Galaxy S5 that tipped a Quad-HD display in the device. The leaked screen short of the 'About' section of 'Quick System info PRO' supposedly revealed that the Galaxy S5's display would feature a HD (1440 by 2560) pixel resolution along with a 560 ppi pixel density, all packed in a 5.2-inch screen.

Further, the report suggests that the Samsung Galaxy S5 will come with a better battery and camera, though it does not reveal the specific details.

Notably, the report also cites a second person familiar with the matter, who claims Samsung might price the Galaxy S5 less than the previous Galaxy S flagship, as requested by a wireless carriers., However, the source does not reveal the pricing of the yet-to-be-launched Galaxy S5.

In addition, a report emerging from korea claims that the Galaxy S5 will be a dustproof and waterproof device. ZDNet korea quoted a source saying, 'users can clean the phone with water while it can sustain short durations of Galaxy S5 on the Geraman website of UK-headquartered mobile carrier, which showed a smartphone making a splash in the water. The teaser had hinted the carrier would be among the first to bring the new Samsung flagship smartphone .

The Korean report also claims that the Galaxy S5 can be unlocked using a swipe over the home button. The report informs that Apple used a sapphire coating for its home button on the iPhone 5s, while Samsung plans to use a ultra-violet(UV) coating over its fingerprint scanner.

It is yet to be seen whether Samsung's long-rumoured Galaxy S5 will pack such features or would be on the same lines as previous Galaxy flagship smartphones.

Samsung Confirms KitKat for U.S. Smartphones and Tablets

DALLAS, February 18, 2014 – Samsung Telecommunications America (Samsung Mobile) announced today that a number of Samsung Galaxy® devices will receive the Android 4.4.2 (KitKat) software update, enriching the Galaxy experience.

The upgrade provides a number of innovative, easy-to-use features that enhance the user experience, including a more intuitive user interface, enhanced messaging capabilities and updated applications:

• Location Menu: An integrated location menu enables users to easily activate GPS, Wi-Fi and mobile networks, while simultaneously checking the battery usage of apps running location service capabilities.
• Enhanced Messaging: Enables users to choose between Messages or Hangouts as their preferred default messaging application, and select from a larger assortment of updated Emoji icons.
• Upgraded Google Mobile Service™ (GMS) apps: Users can automatically back up photos and video and can open, view, rename and share Google Docs and files.

Smartphone camera shootout: iPhone 5S vs Samsung Galaxy Note 3 vs Nexus 5 and more

The Smartphones are getting flooded in the market, major companies are trying to compete with their competitors by launching better Smartphones. All we can see that, the companies are focusing on the features and technology of the handsets- either we look at the screen size, operating system, processes, or the camera, everything is improving. Really, now-a-days Smartphones camera is no less than any DSLR.

At the moment, all the major mobile manufacturer in 2013 has given the best Smartphone with high picture capturing resolution, let us compare head-to-head for top three handsets camera result.

iPhone 5S:

No doubt iPhone 5S is the Apple’s best iPhone ever made. And that’s the reason now Apple stands second most popular camera brand on Flickr after the Canon. It has as almost overtaken every other major camera manufacturers including Nikon as listed on the major websites.

The iPhone 5S have dual camera as the rare camera features an 8-MegaPixel iSight camera with f/2.2 aperture. Samsung Galaxy Note 3

After a grand success of Samsung’s Galaxy Note 2, the new handset of Sumsung provides much better features with the screen, resolution and camera. Samsung’s Galaxy Note 3 comes with Full HD 1080p, 5.7-inch display, and the best thing is the viewing photos. However, the issue arises with the 13-MegaPixal sensor which seemed to struggle with retaining detail in the low light.

In practice, if you check the results of our Primal Scream efforts than you can observe how the image appears softer but fairly noise free. Hence it takes a little processing time and likely results in the loss of details, however, it does better at cleaning up the extra noise.

The only tough job for Samsung camera it with the app, it just needs to simplify it’s  lots of functionality, but it’s rapid.

Nexus 5

Google’s latest and the cheapest Smartphone and somewhere also ends up being the lower side. However, Nexus 5 has introduced an optical image stabilization with 8-MegaPixal.

So, we can say Nexus 5 a little safer in the imaging feature and the recent camera update has also fixed the issues with its exposure and colour balancing effects.

Nexus 5 has the same issue with the processing and sensor, as it pays hard to capture some quality image. Well, it’s said that Android’s ‘vanilla’ camera app is really good, it’s simple yet have enough functionalities and likely closer to Lumia 1020. The only factor is the price so we can’t say it's a bad camera.

Nokia Lumia 1520

There’s no point in comparing this handset with any of the above still just the outline, it’s the same and also uses a PureView sensor, albeit a lower resolution one. It has a 20-MegaPixal sensor paired with the fantastic Nokia Pro Camera app as same as iPhone’s.

The Lumia 1520 is in the comfort zone with the broad daylight compared to Lumia 1020 and overall it stands out to be a clear winner.
