German carrier Deutsche Telekom via its official forum has confirmed that its Galaxy S III variant will get Android 4.3. The confirmation is interesting because there’s a strong rumour of Samsung skipping Android 4.2.2 for Android 4.3 for the Galaxy S III and though the carrier talks about the variant they sell, we can assume the same applies for the rest of the variants as well. Unfortunately we don’t have a release date yet but the update could arrive later this year after Samsung’s current flagship phone, Galaxy S4 gets the upgrade.
Android 4.3 is more or less the same as Android 4.2.2 on the outside but it brings in some improved performance.
So afterall samsung started seeding its high end devices to android 4.3.
S3 owners will be happy to know this but aside the update has just arrived in Germany hoping to cover the most of the countries.
