After the recent launch of the iPhone 5s and 5c there was much focus on the iPad 5 and the iPad mini 2.
Display:
iPad AIR comes with a 9.7 inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1536x2048 with 324ppi.
This device is absolutely advanced comparing with its four generations.
Build and Hardware:
Well now Apple moved out officially these devices in the Lauch event on 23rd of October 2013.
The new iPad is no more called as iPad 5 but yes as iPad Air.
Now let us discuss about the specifications of these devices starting with iPad mini 2.
Display:
iPad mini 2 sports a 7.9 inch display which is the same as iPad mini but this is across only the size of the screen.Coming to the resolution iPad mini2 is trippled the resolution than its predecessor.It sports a 1536x2048 pixels with pixel density of 324ppi.
so well we got to know iPad Mini 2 has got something really big compared to Mini.
Build and Hardware:
Coming to build quality there is nothing change comparing with it's brother (iPad mini) but a slight improvements in the corners and display.iPad Mini 2 is 7.3mm thicker and 331g heavier.
There is a big disappointment that many of them expected the Touch Id sensor which was found on the iPhone 5s but unffortunately the iPad mini 2 remain with the same home button.
Coming to the CPU and GPU iPad mini 2 has got some advanced versions than its predecessor.
Apple used its own A7 chipset with ARMv8 based Cyclone cores a couple of generations ahead of A9.Now coming to the GPU iPad mini 2 is packed with PowerVR SGX 6th series for extreme gaming performance.The M7 motion co-processor is on board too.
Coming to the inbuilt storage this device will start with 16GB and will be all the wy through 128GB.
But unfortunately the 16GB device will be starting with tha range from about 399$ and so on extending the Gigabytes and there increases the price.
This device will be available in the month of november starting with 399$.

It is 7.5mm (thick) i.e, 20% thinner than its predecessors (iPad 2,3&4).And also the weight is decreased to 469g from 653g.
Unfortunately iPad Air also didn't get the Touch id Sensor and remains with the same home button.The overall design is too impressive and also being a Gaint pad weighs much lower this is Thanks to the Build by Apple.
