The Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Huawei has finally announced the launch of its slimmest phone Huawei Ascend P6 in India for Rs. 29,999. However, the phone was already available to buy at the online stores in the country for a bit higher price taG
It is one of the slimmest smartphones in the world with just 6.18mm thick body. It features a 4.7inch HD display with 720 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 1.5GHz quad core processor along with 2GB of RAM. It is having 8GB of internal storage which is further expandable visa microSD card slot. Camera features of the phone include 8MP rear and 5MP front facing shooter.

It is running on the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system version along with Emotion UI v1.6. It is a dual SIM device with 3G network support. It comes with WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS connectivity features. Company has powered it by a decent 2000mAh battery.
Company’s president Xu Xin Quan has confirmed the news on his Weibo account. The phone will be actually powered by company’s own K3V2 processor built on eight cores.
He revealed that the eight-core chipset on the phone will feature integrated 3G network support which will be optimized to provide extended battery life. However, he didn’t shed much light on the internals of the phone beside the presence of a powerful processor.

To inform you, K3V2 processor built on eight cores will be the first incredibly powerful beast chipset from Huawei. Samsung and MediaTek are already offering octa-core chipsets but the K3V2 from Huawei will be a lot different. It means that all the cores in the chipset will be able to operate simultaneously, unlike the current Samsung Exynos octa-core processor which only allows up to 4 cores to work at a time.
