Whereas, the Galaxy Core which is currently available in the market for around 13000 INR runs on Android 4.1 Jelly bean and has a 2 GB of RAM along with 8 GB of inbuilt storage. On the other hand, the new Galaxy Core Plus comes with an Android update to 4.2 Jelly Bean but the rest of the specifications are decreased, as the Core Plus has a 768 MB of RAM and 4 GB of inbuilt storage. However, the Core Plus still includes some same features like a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, a 4.3-inch 800 x 480 screen, a 5-megapixel rear camera and a front VGA shooter. Samsung is rumored to do this in order to increase its production capacities, no matter what the reason is, as at launch price of 17000 INR approx. users might want to buy a Galaxy Grand or Galaxy S3 instead.
